Meet the Team!

My name is Franz Ferguson and I am a Junior in the Operations Management and Technology program at Arizona State University Polytechnic campus. I am also the Vice President of Services for the Undergraduate Student Government on campus and coordinator for this amazing opportunity to help other people out across the world. Ever since I was a little kid I had dreams of helping change the world for the better and whenever an opportunity arose in which I could step up and help others in need I tried my best to provide them with assistance. It has been an honor to work so closely with my fellow student leaders on this project. There is nothing more inspiring then seeing your peers get so excited about such a monumental step for the college and university. We have a lot of work to do but I know the group of students and faculty around us will place us in the most opportune situation to accomplish this feat. From this experience I really just hope to build relationships with remote parts of the world and the largest university in all of the nation, because no one knows what impact these relationships will have for either party but if they are fostered with loving hearts and open minds I am sure many great things will come from these relationships.
Hi, I'm Deondray Williams a Junior at ASU Polytechnic. I am studying Business Administration at the College of Innovation and Technology. I am involved in several clubs on campus besides the International Service Devils including Relay For Life where I am the Event Chair on the Poly campus. My goal is to help create a world with more birthdays.

My name is Saul TiscareƱo, I am an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology with a focus in Alternative Energy Technologies.  Before attending Arizona State University, I was in the Marines and had the opportunity to travel to several countries and learn about many new cultures.  I love traveling, mountain biking, hiking, camping and playing sports.
My name is Krystal Marie Arreola; I am a senior at Arizona State University. I will be graduating spring 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communication and Minor in Event Production Management. My journey as a student has been very pleasant, because Arizona State University has offered me many opportunities. I currently keep busy outside of school with my part time job as a bookkeeper at Golfland Entertainment Center and my internship with Farmers Insurance. I am also Treasurer for the Latin Club (Alianza Latina en Accion Social) at the Polytechnic campus. Outside of school and work, I always work hard to provide assistance to my community. I have volunteered with various organizations: I have helped clean up parks, tutored children, and have been part of promotional Senator campaigns. Above all that I have accomplished as a student, I am also a proud single mother. My determination and goals in life are a product of the leadership characteristics that I want to render to my son.
My name is Charlie Sherman. I am 20 years old and am a Mechanical Engineer major at ASU Polytech. I am an Eagle Scout and a very outdoorsy person who loves to hike and rock climb and give back to my community around me. This trip will be my first time going out of the country and I am very excited about this experience.

Albert Palomar is a third year engineering student at Arizona State University Polytechnic.  When he's not in the machine shop working on school projects he's either jogging long distances or riding his motorcycle along winding mountain roads.  Sun Devil Sparky is one of his closest friends.

My name is Mariadelia Lopez, I am from San Luis, Arizona a small town bordering Mexico. I grew up in a strong family centered environment in which my parents encouraged me to achieve my goals by obtaining education first. Currently, I am Junior majoring in Business Administration at Arizona State University at the Polytechnic campus. I would like to be part of the International Service Project because it is a great opportunity to make a change happen and be part of it. As an ASU students we are constantly aware of the needs people face in their every day lives and if I am able to lend a hand I will do it, that is why I am part of this project. One interesting fact about me is that I am bilingual, Spanish is my first language!
