The International Service Devils have made it to Costa Rica!
The flight in was smooth and our first time fliers felt pretty comfortable even through all the bumps and dips due to turbulence.
When we finally landed after five hours on the plane. The bumps and dips still trickled on as we tried to get through immigration. We needed a specific address to where we were going however there is not an official address for the little town of Providencia. You see, Providencia isn't even on the map!! Thinking quickly we asked the information desk where the nearest internet hotspot was located. This conversation was a bit difficult as well because the guy working wasn't able to make a connection to why we needed it in the first place.
After finally getting some internet we quickly searched for a random hotel to act as an in prompt to destination to which we luckily gained entrance in to our new country for the week. After that hiccup we quickly met up with our guide Jhonathan. Who took us to the mall international in which we had our first dinner in Costa Rica.
The ordering process was extremely hard as we did not know how the currency worked and for those who aren't fluent in the native language. Eventually we were able to order our food and make it to our hostel, Casa Vida owned by Dillon.
After resting up for a bit we decided to take a stroll out on the town and ended up at local hole in the wall spot to order some food. During the dinner Charlie Sherman and Justin Finnerty got locked in an intense billard match in which Justin nailed a sweet double shot to win the first match out of a three game to win the series.
We then went back to the hostel to get some rest because we needed to be up bright and early, 8 am, to begin our trip to Providencia which would take three hours.
Searching frantically for our fake location to enter the country!!
